2B

All Narratives need structure. The definition of structure is: something made up of a number of parts that are held or put together in a particular way. Although it was discussed previously that all stories need characters,a plot, a theme and a setting but even more basic than that all stories have a beginning, a middle and a conclusion. The begining usually introduces the main characters and the setting. The middle usually involves the plot and the end is associated with the theme. All these things are the main ingredients of a story.

In my example of a Narrative " La LLorona", the beginning explains where the story takes place (by a river) and the main character which is  Maria (La LLorona). The story then moves into the middle which is the plot, the point where Maria filled with rage drowns her children. Finally the story ends with the warning that Maria appears at night walking in a white gown looking for her children.
