Visual Rhetoric
Visual Rhetoric is visual communication. When you look at a painting there is a message that the artist is trying to convey and it is up to the viewers perception and understanding to grasp the idea or message. When we take photographs it is to capture that moment in time that will never happen exactly the same ever again but in the picture the story will be told over and over again. It's also used as a form of persuasion. There are advertisements everywhere! It seems almost impossible to go one day without seeing an image of something someone is trying to sell to you.
